Do you
bead, sew, weave, carve, paint, draw, etch, work with metal, write
poetry, or
take photographs? The Alutiiq Museum seeks Alutiiq artists to
participate
in our summer demonstrator program. Demonstrators share their craft in
our gallery in return for the opportunity to sell their work directly
to our
patrons. We will help you pick a date and time when the museum expects
a
large number of visitors, provide tables for your demonstration, and
advertise
your participation. Artists are responsible for paying a small
refundable
reservation fee, transporting themselves and their work to the museum,
staffing
their table, bringing their own cash box, and leading a short activity.
This is a great opportunity to share your knowledge and sell your
work. For more information or to reserve a demonstration date, please
contact Museum Store Manager
