A) 5 1/8" high x 5" diam.; muslin covered with gut, decorated with bits of red and green yarn on sides. Bottom was stitched with orange yarn, but most has been worn away. Top finished with gold thread in buttonhole stitch all around. This basket leans to one side, quite dusty inside, may have been used for a long time. Arrived with a needle stuck in side which has been removed
B) lid, 5" diam. X 5/8" high. Flat w/small handle attached to top, 5 1/2" long along the edges. The middle has a V pattern with maroon and 1t. green thread. The top has three pieces that the hadnle is attached to. These three pieces are stitched together with bits of red and blue yarn in the stitching. The side of the lid is attached with very small hand stitching and minute bits of pink yarn.
