Intestine pouch, likely Alutiiq or Unangan (Aleut). The two pale streaks down the front and back of the bag is where the mesentery attached to the intestine. The bag is lined with what looks like beige linen. The bag has fur detailing and a drawstring, all intact. The fur may be made of wool yarn or baby seal fur. The fur and the yarn stitching is a faded light aqua green color and a faded orange-gold color. The drawstring is beige and has a dark green thread around it. The stitching at the top of the bag in the scalloped area is a very dark brown or faded black. The bag is believed to date back to mid-1800s to the early 20th century.
