Chugach or Koniag mountain goat horn spoon, semi-circular in outline, with motifs along the handle similar to formline designs. The bowl emerges as the lower lip of large mouth figure at the end of the handle, with a long tongue, slightly concave, going halfway down the bowl. The interior of the bowl is characterized by two areas of parallel solid and dotted lines. There is a 2cm slot in the top of the handle. The lower lip continues down the back of the bowl as a rectangular raised area with formline motifs and lines of hatch marks. The back of the handle is striated. Color is dark brown. Made of one piece of horn.~root~>
