Collected by the donor's grandfather, Harlow Harvey Amos Hastings, who was a lawyer in Southeast Alaska (Juneau ?) in 1892.

Wooden bird spear shaft with the three prongs are missing from their slots. A small wrapping of braided sinew surrounds the shaft, which may be broken off. The shaft shows wear, and is unpainted with the possible exception of the area near the prong slots.~root~>
