Hanna Palmer Sholl

Jonathan and Hanna Palmer Sholl with their childrenHanna Sholl (previously Hanna Palmer) was born in Kodiak, Alaska, to Sophie Frets and Bruce Burns.  Her grandparents were Walt and Edna Hansen. She has always enjoyed different aspects of art. When she moved back to Kodiak in 2006, Hanna began exploring traditional Native art. In 2012 she married her husband Jonathan Sholl who plays a big role in supporting her artistically; and has been blessed with three children who play a huge role in inspiring her. Currently she works primarily with skin, clay, acrylic paint, and photography, but she also enjoys wood carving and jewelry making.
