A low-growing herb with broad roundish leaves that circle the base of the plant’s stem. Numerous small, greenish-white flowers form a spike at the top of the stem. This introduced plant normally grows in open disturbed places.
Medicine: People wrap a raw common plantain leaf around a bunion to relieve pain.
