Plant Crafts

Learn how to harvest, clean, craft, and cook with Kodiak’s wild plants. This set of videos features a plant walk with culture bearer Gayla Pedersen and a series of tutorials. Make a healing salve from cottonwood buds. Turn rose petals into jam, pickle kelp, or flavor a syrup with spruce tips.
