Medium: Beading
Angel Moreno comes from an Alutiiq family with ties to the community of Karluk. She lives in Kodiak and learned to bead from her mother, Beverly Moreno. Angel finds beading fun and relaxing and enjoys seeing a pattern come together as she works. She studies designs in the world around her to add to her jewelry and takes inspiration from the seasons and holidays. Angel is an Alutiiq Seal Artist who sells her work at the Alutiiq Museum Store.
