Medium: Beading
Beverly Moreno was born and raised in the Alutiiq village of Karluk. She learned beading from her mother and has been making jewelry for over 14 years. Beverly especially likes working with delica beads and enjoys making earrings and bracelets.
Beverly says, “I love to see beads come together to make beautiful pieces. Beading is something I do when I want to relax or think about life in general. It gives me time to sit still in a sometimes chaotic world.”
Today, Beverly and her family live in Kodiak. She sells her jewelry personally and through the Alutiiq Museum Store.
