Nannette Foster
Medium: Jewelry
Inspired by the wild beauty abundant in Kodiak, Nannette creates unique jewelry art that reflects the colors, images and spirit of the island she is blessed to call home. A member of the Cherokee Nation, Nannette strives to care for the earth and honor its Creator.
Having a passion for the restoration of what was once deemed undesirable, her specialty is transforming beach clean-up materials, such as metals and glass, into truly one of a kind pieces in what she calls an Eco-Deco style. In her wirework pieces, look for symbolism of her Native American heritage and the Alutiiq roots of her family.
